Using conventional treatments is one way to eliminate bedbugs from your home. We use conventional treatments to remove bedbugs from small, confined locations. While traditional treatments are effective, they’re not suitable for everyone or all situations. In addition to that, it requires our exterminator to visit the client’s home more than once. We rely on a recent study performed at Purdue University.
The study found that bedbug pesticides were only effective when the exterminator visited the home twice. In general, a wait time of 10 to 14 days is needed to ensure that bedbug eggs have time to hatch. Our extermination team has decided to take this one step further. We use the following protocols to guarantee success.
- We visit the home three times.
- During the first two visits, we check the home for bedbugs and treat the home when necessary.
- We’ll visit the home for a third time to check for bedbugs. If we find any, we’ll treat the home again.
- We wait 2 to 3 weeks between visits so the eggs can hatch.
We guarantee that we’ll never use conventional treatments unless our clients agree to do so. If you want to use our conventional treatments, we’ll do our best to protect you, your loved ones, and your precious pets.
